Company of Ten

Anyone is welcome to join the Company of Ten. It doesn’t matter whether you have decades of experience, or none at all.

When you become a member, you’ll receive a monthly bulletin, Prompt Corner, which includes all the Company news, including advance notice of auditions, training and social gatherings. You’ll also be entitled to discounted tickets, and eligible for ‘Members Only’ events – closed-door performances in which new productions are tried out for the first time.

If you are a student in full time education and are 20 or over, or are unemployed, or are 65 or over you can join as a Concessionary Member. If you are 19 or under you can join as a Youth Member. You still get all the benefits of Company of Ten membership but at a discounted price.

Buying a membership for someone else

You can now buy a membership on behalf of someone else, for example as a parent buying a Youth Membership for your child. Please click here and follow the instructions to choose the 'attendee' for whom the membership is intended. If the member is not yet on our database you will need to add them on the next page. You will then be returned to this page to select the desired membership category.

Friend

Being a Friend means you’ll be first to find out what’s going on at the Abbey Theatre. For just £12 a year, you’ll receive a discount on two tickets for each Company of Ten production as well as for some visiting shows.
You’ll also receive a monthly newsletter with information about our plays, including updates on rehearsals and interesting insights into life behind the scenes here.
Many Friends enjoy volunteering front of house at the Theatre, working on the box office, stewarding, serving behind the bar or selling coffee and ice cream at performances. This is a great way to meet other people who value the Abbey Theatre and the vibrant community we have here.
